Prototype

Quality & resilience scores are experimental and still being calibrated — they'll move as we dial in the math.

Math is hard. I'm a bartender. Relax.

Chaos Scenarios

A five-scenario suite — 2 baselines and 3 stress tests — simulating everything from textbook service to complete catastrophe.

Scenario Runner

Select two chaos scenarios and a backend-backed cocktail preset to see how Daily Libations qualification shifts side-by-side.

Service Failure Simulator

A cocktail that only works under perfect conditions isn't a good cocktail — it's a liability. The chaos scenario engine stress-tests every recipe against the real conditions bartenders face: hot patios, wet ice bins, dishwasher-hot glassware, rushed shakes, and rail delays. The result is a backend-modeled master score for each run plus a five-run scenario resilience readout for the full stress set.

5 Calibrated Scenarios

Standard

baseline

Textbook conditions. Room temperature environment, standard technique, no delays. The control scenario every recipe must pass first.

Proper Service

baseline

How it should be done. Chilled glassware, no wait time, fresh ice. The aspirational bar program. Rewards technique-sensitive cocktails.

Saturday Night Weeds

Worst Case

extreme

Everything goes wrong. Brutal heat, minimal shake, scorching glass, two-minute rail wait, wet ice, five-minute sip window. If it survives this, it survives anything.

Scenario Metrics

Master Score is the Daily Libations qualification score for the selected scenario. Forgiveness remains the backend's machine-ice / rushed-service subscore inside each scenario run. The page-level Scenario Resilience number is a severity-weighted average of those master scores across all five scenarios.

80–100: Bulletproof 60–79: Resilient 40–59: Fragile 0–39: Liability

Auto-Tags

The scenario engine automatically tags recipes based on fixed master-score comparisons across the five-run set.

bulletproof

Scenario resilience stays at 80+ and every scenario still passes. These recipes stay intact under pressure.

technique-sensitive

Master score drops >15 pts between Standard and Saturday Night Weeds. Rushed shaking materially changes the drink.

ice-sensitive

Master score drops >15 pts between Proper Service and Patio Rush. Wet service conditions materially change the drink.

vessel-sensitive

Master score drops >15 pts between Proper Service and Worst Case. Hot glassware materially changes the drink.
